Meet the Director

Brittany M. Watkins (b.1989, Carrollton, GA) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Columbia, SC. Named Director of Goodall Gallery in Fall 2023, she hopes to strengthen the connection between local and regional art institutions and the greater public. She is best known for large installation works, having received accolades such as South Carolina Arts Commission’s State Fellowship, ArtFields' Juried Panel Prize, and South Arts State Fellowship. Watkins holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (concentrating in sculptural ceramics) from the University of West Georgia and an MFA in Studio Art from Florida State University (2016). Her solo exhibition, Impermanence & Abject Space is on view at Greenville Center for Creative Arts through November 27, 2024.
